Costume Contests on the Water
Once you and your pup have had a chance to fall in love with paddle boarding, we encourage you to join us out on the water for one of our many events. From private birthdays to fundraisers for local charities, join us on the water and meet new friends while giving back to a good cause. If you’d like to host your own event; (birthday, holiday, fundraiser, etc) please reach out to Sam directly for availability. If you’d like to join one of our scheduled SUP Pup events, you can find them listed in the calendar below and book through the Fairharbor booking system under the “SUP social events” tab.
Bark, Boards & Babes End of Summer Celebration
Celebrate the end of summer with Bark, Boards & Babes, an all-women, dog-friendly sunset paddle at Liberty Station on Saturday, September 26!
Bring your pup, invite your girlfriends or come solo because no dog is required to join.
Co-hosted by Kaela from @dogsof_sandiego, this special evening includes action photos by SUP Pups, professional land portraits by Alexis from Dog Haus Photography, goodie bags from Pet Power Studio, light snacks, refreshments and time around the bonfire.
Board rentals and BYO-board tickets are available. Spots are limited, and advance RSVP is required at SUPpups.com.
Speed & Footwork Clinic
Ready to paddle faster and turn with more confidence? Join us on Sunday, September 27th from 9:00–11:00 AM at Liberty Station for the next clinic in our What’s SUP Skill Series: Paddle Fast, Turn Faster! Building on our previous Footwork & Play Clinics, this session shifts the focus to speed, power, efficient stroke technique, confident footwork, and quicker buoy turns.
No racing experience is required, but participants should already be comfortable paddling and standing on a board. Board rentals are available, or you may bring your own. Complimentary photos, videos, snacks, and refreshments are included. Space is limited
Celebrate spooky season on the water at Corgis & Cauldrons: Halloween Paddle Social,
Hosted by Rocket the Corgi, Orbit the Corgi, and SUP Pups! Join us on Saturday, October 3rd at Liberty Station for a festive, beginner-friendly sunset paddle filled with adorable dogs, creative costumes, new friends, and Halloween fun.
Corgis may be the stars, but everyone is welcome, you do not need to have a corgi or bring a dog to participate! Dress up your pup, yourself, or both and enter our Halloween costume contest for a chance to win a special prize. Meet at 5:00 PM, with the group paddle beginning at 5:30 PM. Board rentals are available, or bring your own. Advance registration is required at SUPpups.com.
Dachshund Halloween Paddle Party
Join Poppy and SUP Pups for The Hallo-Weenie Paddle Pawty, a festive, beginner-friendly sunset paddle filled with dachshunds, costumes, and Halloween fun! Dachshunds may be the stars, but all friendly breeds, dog lovers, and paddlers are welcome, even if you don’t bring a dog. Dress up your pup, yourself, or both and enter our Halloween costume contest for a chance to win a special prize. Come make new friends, capture adorable photos, and celebrate spooky season on the water!
Harbor Hoot Hustle
Join SUP Pups at the 7th Annual Infinity SUP Dana Point Harbor Hoot presented by Board & Brew on Saturday, October 10 at Baby Beach!
This fun and welcoming community event features the 3K Channel Scoot, Harbor Hustle, Baby Beach Bolt Relay and a free stroke clinic. Paddle with your dog in the SUP & Pup Division or participate without your pup in another division. All ages and abilities are welcome, and costumes are encouraged for extra fun!
3K Channel Scoot Divisions:
• SUP Raceboard: 12’6” and 14’ raceboards
• SUP Inflatable: Any inflatable board
• SUP Recreational: Hard boards under 12’6”
• SUP Adaptive: Any board
• SUP & Pup: Any board with one paddler and one dog
• SUP Multiperson: Any board with more than one paddler
Registration is $50 and includes entry into all events, a competitor only raffle, an official event towel and lunch from Board & Brew.

Join SUP Pups for the 10th Annual SUPer Scary Halloween Glow Paddle + Fundraiser
Dress up for a glow paddle, meet adoptable senior dogs from Frosted Faces Foundation, enter the costume contest, and enjoy on-the-water photos, goodies, and treats. Diana from Light Up Pups will have glowing collars and leashes available to reserve online and purchase from her at the event. Bring cash or Venmo if you’d like to make a day-of donation directly to Frosted Faces and enter the prize raffle. Bring your own board, reserve a limited paddle board or kayak rental, or join from shore.
Witches Paddle!
The coven has a new way to fly this Halloween… on paddle boards!
Join SUP Pups, SunChaser SUP, and West Coast Paddle Board Rentals for an all-women, dog-friendly paddle through the Liberty Station channel. Dress in your witchiest attire, bring your pup or your girlfriends, or come solo and find your coven. No dog is required! Expect costumes, laughter, new connections, and a little magic on the water. 🐾🔮
Saturday, October 24 at 4:00 PM at SUP Pups in Liberty Station. We’ll begin departing around 4:45 PM and paddle from approximately 5:00–6:00 PM.
Limited paddle board and kayak rentals are available, or you can bring your own equipment. Online registration is required to join the coven!
